Title: The Christmas Present Wrapper"

Description:  "The Christmas Present Wrapper" is an abstract painting that features contrasting shades of greens with striking pinkish stripes, reminiscent of a Christmas wrapper. The composition is playful and colorful, invoking a sense of joy and festivity. 

Medium and technique: The painting has been created using acrylic oil paint. The stripes have been delicately painted with a brush, while the lines in between the stripes have been painted using the tip of a sharp pine branch. This technique, known as "pine needle painting," involves using natural materials such as pine needles or twigs to create fine lines and details in a painting. The use of this technique in "The Christmas Present Wrapper" adds a unique and organic touch to the composition, creating a sense of texture and depth. There is also an optical illusion in this painting which makes it look slanted even though is not. ;)

Priming method: Additionally, the original artwork was shined using a combination of coconut,olive oil and essential oils, which not only enhances the vibrancy of the colors but also adds a subtle sheen to the surface of the canvas.
